Where is the CS:GO config file located?

It's in the Steam folder under userdata. If you got multiple accounts, you'll see different folders for each. Just head into the one for the account you use for CS:GO, then it's straight into 730 > local > cfg. Config.cfg is the golden file you're looking for.

The CS:GO config file is usually found in your local Steam directory, under the userdata folder. Specifically, you're looking for a folder that has a bunch of numbers (your Steam ID), then navigate to 730 (which is CS:GO's app ID) > local > cfg. Inside, you'll find your config.cfg file. This is where all your keybinds and settings are stored. Handy if you wanna make a backup!

IDK why everyone's making a big deal out of it. Just copy your buddy's config and slam it into the same place as theirs. EZ.

Just search for 'config.cfg' in your CS:GO folder lol. If you haven't done any voodoo to your install paths, it should pop right up.
