To catch a Gallade in Pokemon Violet, you first need a Dawn Stone to evolve a male Kirlia. Kirlia evolves from Ralts, which you can find wandering around the area of South Province (Area Five). Make sure you catch a male Ralts or Kirlia, since only they can evolve into Gallade. Remember, the Dawn Stone is key here!

Actually caught my Gallade totally by accident. Was leveling up a male Kirlia for my Pokedex and found a Dawn Stone in my bag. Used it without thinking and bam, Gallade. Check areas where Dawn Stones are likely to drop or in Tera Raid Battles for them.
