Greninja isn't something you can catch in the wilds of Paldea in Pokemon Scarlet. Instead, you gotta get Froakie, its first evolution stage, from a special event or trade with someone who did. After evolving Froakie into Frogadier and then into Greninja, you'll have this awesome ninja frog on your team!

Honestly, hunting for Greninja in Scarlet or Violet is a wild goose chase. They don't spawn naturally. Best bet is to check out those special events or link up for a trade. Got my Froakie from a friend and evolved it, best decision ever!
