Rockruff hangs out in the South Province (Area Three) and West Province (Area One) in Pokemon Violet. When you're in these areas, be patient because sometimes it might take a bit for Rockruff to show up. Keep an eye out for its cute little rock face bopping around in the wild!

Just walk around in the South Province, you'll practically trip over Rockruffs there.

Caught my Rockruff near a small cave in the West Province (Area One). It's all about timing and a bit of luck. Early morning or late evening in-game time seems to be the sweet spot for these little rock puppies to appear. Happy hunting!
