Changing your Pokemon's Tera Type in Pokemon Violet is pretty cool and happens at Tera Raid Battle locations. You gotta defeat a Tera Pokemon in these raids to get a Tera Shard specific to the type you want. Then, just head over to a Tera Raid crystal and choose to change your Pokémon's Tera Type. Remember, you need the right type of Tera Shard!

I tried changing my Pikachu's Tera Type at a Tera Raid Battle spot and it worked like a charm! Make sure you've got the Tera Shards for the type you want, though. It adds a whole new level to strategy, especially in battles!
