Salamence isn't just handed to you on a silver platter in Pokemon Violet, you gotta earn it! Start your quest by catching a Bagon, its pre-evolved form, which lurks around the mountainous areas of Paldea. Bagon evolves into Shelgon at level 30 and then into the mighty Salamence at level 50. So, get ready to hike and level up!
