I grabbed my Applin near Levincia, in the South Province (Area Five), but it took FOREVER. They're out there, just super elusive. Best of luck!

Applin? Just wander around South Province (Area Three). Seriously, it's not that deep. I found mine after like 5 minutes of looking.

Applin? Overrated. Try focusing on evolving your starters; they'll carry you through the game just fine.
