Caught myself a Basculin near Casseroya Lake! It seems like water bodies are your best bet. I've also heard they like to hang out in rivers throughout the Paldea region. Keep your eyes peeled around these areas, and you're bound to run into one sooner or later!

Why bother? Basculin isn't even that good. There are way better Water-type Pokémon to catch in Scarlet.

Honestly, I've seen them more in rivers than lakes. South of Mesagoza has been pretty lucky for me!

Just fish for it, dude. Anywhere with a lot of water in Pokémon Scarlet, and you'll probably bump into Basculin.
