Gyarados? Oh, just fish in any big ol' body of water. Bigger the better. It's a big fish; makes sense, right?

Honestly, finding a Gyarados isn't worth the hassle. Just evolve a Magikarp. You get one from almost any body of water with a fishing rod, and all it needs is a bit of leveling up. Way easier than hunting for a wild Gyarados.
