Leftovers are super handy for long battles cuz they heal your Pokemon a bit each turn. You can snag some Leftovers in the area outside Medali Gym. Just look for a narrow alley on the left side of the gym. There's a Poke Ball item there, and voila, you've got yourself some tasty leftovers. Also, don't forget to have a Pokemon with the 'Pickup' ability in your party as you wander around; they can randomly find items like Leftovers after battles.
