Magikarp, the floppy fish we all love, is pretty easy to bag in Pokemon Violet. Head to any body of water, like lakes or rivers in the Paldea region, and you're likely to encounter this iconic Pokemon. It's everywhere water is but I've had great luck fishing for them near Levincia. Just toss that fishing line in and you'll probably snag a Magikarp before you know it!

Fun fact: I caught my first Magikarp near Levincia's docks! It was almost too easy. If you're looking to build a Gyarados, that's the place to start. Water spots are your friend in Pokemon Violet.
