Why is CS:GO Lagging?
Best answer

There could be a few reasons why CS:GO is lagging for you. First, check your internet connection. A slow or unstable connection is often the culprit. Then, take a look at your computer's specs. CS:GO isn't the most demanding game, but it still requires a decent setup to run smoothly. Make sure your graphics drivers are up to date as well. Lastly, in-game settings can also impact performance. Try lowering your graphics settings to see if that helps reduce lag.

Your PC might just be too old, mate. CS:GO is pretty forgiving, but if you're running it on a potato, you're gonna have a bad time. Time for an upgrade!

Just lower your graphics settings and make sure nothing else is eating up your internet bandwidth. Sometimes other devices on your network downloading or streaming can cause lag too.

Honestly, sometimes it's just the servers. Especially during updates or peak hours, servers can get overloaded causing lag for everyone. Not much you can do except wait it out or try a server in a different region.
