Why does CS:GO crash when I join a game?

You might have some background apps eating up your resources. CS:GO needs all the CPU and RAM it can get. Close unnecessary programs before launching the game. Also, an unstable internet connection might cause issues, so check that as well!

Reinstall the game. It’s a pain, but sometimes it's the only way to get rid of persistent crashes. Make sure to back up your configs and maps first!

CS:GO crashing when you join a game can be super annoying, but it's often something you can fix! First, check if your graphics drivers are up to date - outdated drivers are notorious for causing issues. Next, verify the integrity of game files through Steam; sometimes files get corrupted and need a quick fix. Also, consider if your PC meets the game's minimum requirements. And finally, try lowering your in-game graphics settings. Sometimes, pushing your settings too high can cause crashes, especially in intense moments.

Mods or custom skins might be the culprit. If you've got any installed, try removing them to see if that solves the problem.

Just lower your graphics settings. Worked for me. Game's too pretty for its own good anyway.
