Honestly, I think they're taking their sweet time with it. Every new game should launch with this feature ready to go, IMHO.

Yep, Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet will definitely be compatible with Pokemon Home, just not right at launch. The devs mentioned they're working on making sure everything syncs up nicely for transferring your beloved Pokemon, so you'll just need to be a bit patient.
