Honestly, expecting a full Pokedex in any new Pokemon game is setting yourself up for disappointment. Game Freak has moved away from that model to keep the games more manageable and exciting with new discoveries!

Nope, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet won't have a full Pokedex like in previous generations. They're focusing on including a mix of old favorites and a bunch of new ones to keep things fresh. So, while you'll see many familiar faces, don't expect every single Pokemon ever made to show up.

Def not. It's more about the adventure in the new region than catching 'em all this time. Plus, it keeps the game files from being ridiculously huge.
