Are CS:GO Idle Servers Allowed?
Best answer

Honestly, just play the game. Idle servers might not be against the rules, but they kinda miss the point of playing CS:GO. You're better off enjoying the game the way it's meant to be played.

Yep, CS:GO idle servers are totally a thing and they're allowed. Basically, players jump into these servers to rack up in-game hours, get drops, or just hang out without actively playing. Valve hasn't banned them or anything, so it's all good to go as long as you're not using them for any shady business!

Been using idle servers for ages to boost my inventory with drops without any issues. Valve seems cool with it, so you're good to go.
