Nope, CS:GO names aren't unique. You can literally name yourself anything you want, even if someone else already has that name. So, you could run into five players all named 'John Wick' in one game. The real unique identifier is your Steam ID, not your in-game name.

Absolutely not. Names in CS:GO are more about expressing yourself or your current mood than being a unique tag. Seen plenty of 'BOT Jeffs' and 'Ninja's running around, and it's all chill.
