Are CS:GO pros allowed to check the console during matches?

Yeah, CS:GO pros can totally check the console during matches, but there's a catch! They can't just open it anytime they feel like it. Each tournament has its own set of rules about when and how players can use the console. Most of the time, they use it to adjust settings before matches start or to fix issues with their equipment. So while they do have access, it's not like they're using it to cheat or anything sneaky.

Nah, using the console mid-game is a big no-no. They adjust settings before the game and that's it. Anything during the game is usually off limits unless something's gone wrong and they need an admin.

As someone who's been in a few amateur tournaments (not quite pro, I'll admit), we were allowed to use the console for technical stuff only. Like adjusting settings or fixing issues. Tournament officials were super strict about it.
