I gotta say, smurfing isn't officially banned, but I've seen a lot of players getting really heated about it. Kinda makes the game less enjoyable for those trying to learn.

Technically, smurfing isn't against CS:GO's official rules, but it sure does annoy the heck out of people. It's when high-skilled players create new accounts to play against less experienced ones. No direct rule says "No smurfing!", but it kinda bends the spirit of fair play, you know?

Smurfing = Not technically against the rules but definitely frowned upon. It's like being that one grown-up crashing a kids' party and hogging the piñata. A big no-no in the unwritten code of gaming ethics.
