No, and thank Arceus for that! You have to manually engage in battles with Shiny Pokémon. It adds to the thrill of the chase. Caught my first Shiny after hours of gameplay, and the manual battle made it all the more satisfying.

Nope, you can't auto-battle Shiny Pokémon in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. When a Shiny appears, the game requires you to battle it manually to add that extra sparkle of challenge and excitement of catching something rare. So, keep those Joy-Cons ready!
