Quick tip: Check your firewall settings! I had the same issue and it turned out my firewall was blocking CS:GO. All I had to do was make an exception for the game in the firewall settings and bam, back to defusing bombs!

Honestly, it's probably just Steam being Steam. Wait a bit and try again. Works for me 9 times out of 10.
