Does CS:GO use real money?

Yep, you use real money in CS:GO but mostly for buying cosmetic items like skins, stickers, or to get the Prime Status subscription. However, in-game you use an in-game currency you earn during matches to buy weapons and equipment. So, real-world cash for the cool extras and in-game earned cash for tactical gameplay.

CS:GO doesn't directly use real money for gameplay. You buy skins and other cosmetics with real money though. Totally worth it for the bragging rights!

Real money? Only if you're eyeing those sweet skins or need that Prime Status. Otherwise, your tactical gear in matches? That's all on the house, earned by how well you play!
