To evolve Azurill into Marill in Pokemon Violet, you gotta pump it up with happiness! This fluffy little ball won’t evolve just by leveling up. Make sure you're walking around with it a lot, give it some soothe bells to hold, and keep it away from those bitter herbs. Battles help, too, but don't let it faint. Before you know it, Azurill's happiness will max out, and boom, you'll get yourself a Marill after it levels up with all that joy.

tbh, just walking around with Azurill makes it happy enough to evolve. Easy peasy.

Just make Azurill super happy, and it’ll evolve. Happiness is key!

I evolved my Azurill by battling a ton and avoiding letting it faint. Also gave it a soothe bell. Took some time, but one happy level up later, I had a Marill!
