Just slap an Oval Stone on Happiny and make sure it levels up when it's daytime in-game. Trust me, I forgot the daytime part once and was staring at my screen wondering why nothing was happening!

Evolving Happiny in Pokemon Violet is pretty simple but does require a specific item. You need to give Happiny an Oval Stone. But wait, there's more! You can't just give it the Oval Stone and call it a day. Happiny has to hold the Oval Stone and then level up during the day. Timing is key here, so make sure the sun is shining in your game world when you decide it's time for Happiny to evolve into Chansey!

I'm gonna go against the grain here and say that the whole Oval Stone method is kinda overrated. I miss the simpler times when Pokémon just evolved by leveling up. But hey, if you wanna play ball with the new mechanics, more power to ya.
