As of now, Mewtwo isn't catchable in the wild in Pokemon Violet. But, remember those Pokemon games love their events. Keep an eye out for special events or updates from Nintendo, because that's how they usually introduce legendary Pokémon like Mewtwo into the game. It wouldn't be surprising if they have an event for Mewtwo down the line!
