Step-by-Step Guide to Crafting Portals
To enter new realms in Minecraft, players craft portals, magical doorways that transport you to various dimensions. There are two main types: Nether Portals and End Portals.
Nether Portals require obsidian blocks and a fire source. First, arrange the obsidian in a rectangular frame (minimum 4×5 blocks). Next, ignite the inside of the frame using flint and steel or a fire charge, and voila, your Nether Portal activates!
End Portals, on the other hand, are a bit trickier. You can’t make these in Survival mode; you have to find them in fortress strongholds. Once found, place an Eye of Ender in each of the 12 portal frame blocks around the portal. When all eyes are in place, the portal activates, taking you to the End.
