How does the CS:GO drop system work?

Basically, you play, you might get something cool at the end of the match. It's random, so don't count on getting that rare skin your friend flaunted yesterday.

CS:GO drops items randomly to players after completing a match. You could get weapon skins, cases, or graffiti. There's a weekly drop limit, meaning you can only get a certain number of free drops each week. Drops reset every Wednesday. Also, playing more doesn't necessarily mean you'll get more drops after hitting the limit, so it's all about luck!

Drop rates are a mystery, but your chances don't increase the more you play. Hit your weekly limit and that's it till next reset.

From personal experience, the drop system feels super random. Been playing for ages and got everything from awesome skins to... well, mostly cases. Remember, it's all about the luck of the draw!
