How does CS:GO overtime work?

In CS:GO, if a competitive match ends in a 15-15 tie, the game goes into overtime to determine a winner. Each team starts with $10,000. Overtime consists of additional rounds, usually best of 6 (first team to win 4 rounds wins the match). If it's still tied after these rounds, the process repeats until there's a winner!

It's all about the clutch! Overtime in CS:GO is where legends are born. Remember, it's MR3 (Match Rounds 3) and you get 10k at the start. But most importantly, keep calm under pressure.

Overtime is overrated. Just get good and win in regulation. 😉

Just to add, teams switch sides after the first 3 rounds in overtime. It keeps the game fair and tests both teams' skills on each side - Terrorist and Counter-Terrorist.
