Honestly, evolving Scyther into Scizor is a bit of a pain since you need to bother with the whole trading process. But, once you get that Metal Coat and find someone to trade with, it's totally worth it. Scizor looks cool and has some sick stats!

To evolve Scyther in Pokemon Scarlet, you need a Metal Coat. First, make sure Scyther is holding the Metal Coat. Then, perform a trade with another player. Once the trade is complete, Scyther will evolve into Scizor. The Metal Coat can be a bit tricky to find, so keep an eye out in areas like the Grand Olive Orchard or check out in-game shops that might sell it.
