Honestly, I didn't find the CS:GO comp rank rework too harsh. It's a game, folks. Adapt and overcome. If you're good, you'll rank up again. No biggie.

The rework was brutal! I dropped two ranks and it took me ages to climb back up. Felt like all my hard work was for nothing. Valve really shook things up with this one.

The CS:GO comp rank rework hit some players hard but it's all about perspective. For folks who were really into grinding, it may have felt like a setback since many saw their ranks adjust more than they expected. But, it's not all doom and gloom. It was Valve's way of balancing the playing field, ensuring that ranks accurately reflect skill levels. So, if you got demoted, see it as a challenge to climb back up! Plus, it made the overall competitive scene healthier by placing players more accurately according to their skill levels.
