Grading is overrated. Just enjoy the cards, no need to put a number on everything!
Honestly, just keep it simple. They slap a grade on your card based on how shiny and crisp it looks. More shiny and less bent equals more $$$.
I had my rare Charizard graded and it was an eye-opener. They use a magnifying glass or something to check every tiny detail. Got an 8 and thought it was perfect. It's super strict!
