How long does a CS:GO game take?

The length of a CS:GO game can vary quite a bit depending on the mode you're playing. For competitive matches, you're looking at an average of about 45 minutes to an hour, though they can stretch longer if you're going all 30 rounds, plus overtime. Casual matches are shorter, generally around half that time. It all comes down to how evenly matched the teams are and which game mode you're playing!

Honestly, if you're in for a quick game, Deathmatch and Arms Race modes are where it's at. 10 minutes, in and out.

My longest game? 1.5 hours. It was a competitive match that went into multiple overtimes. A rollercoaster of emotions but so worth it when we finally won.

45 min is average for comp games but remember, it ain't over 'til it's over.
