Typically, there are two CS:GO Majors each year. These are huge, international tournaments that are the highlight of the competitive scene. One usually takes place in the spring or early summer, and the other in the fall or winter. These events bring together the best teams from around the world to compete for massive prize pools and the prestige of being called Major champions!

Honestly, just two Majors a year feels short. Imagine if we had three or four? The hype would be real, but then again, it might take away from the prestige of winning a Major.
