Honestly, it took me a sec to figure out, but it's easy once you know where to look. Found out you just go into the 'Friends' tab from the main menu. Was trying to do it mid-game at first, lol, don't make my mistake.

Just go to the 'Friends' section in the menu and accept the request. Super simple!
