Building the Perfect Base
The base can be one to four layers tall, and you can use iron, gold, emerald, or diamond blocks to build it. Each layer adds more power to the beacon. A full, four-layer pyramid base maximizes its potential.
To activate your beacon, place it on top of the base. Then, access the beacon’s menu with a right-click. You’ll see a GUI (graphical user interface). Select your desired primary power by feeding the beacon an ingot (iron, gold, etc.). Voila! Your beacon shines bright, offering you special boosts like Speed, Jump Boost, Haste, Strength, or Regeneration, depending on the pyramid’s size.
