Just drag and drop, easy! Get your map, find the 'maps' folder in your CS:GO directory, throw it in, and bam, you're set. Don't forget to restart CS:GO to see it.

Honestly, just use Steam. It's way easier to manage maps through the Workshop. Non-Steam versions are a headache.

Been adding custom maps for years. Make sure you also grab any textures or models that come with the map. Otherwise, it's missing texture city. And always check for updates from the map creator!

Adding maps to a non-Steam version of CS:GO involves a bit of folder exploration. First, download the custom map you want to play. Then, locate your CS:GO installation folder and find the 'csgo' directory. Inside, there's a 'maps' folder where you'll drop the .bsp file you downloaded. Restart the game, and you should be able to access the new map through the console by typing 'map <map name>'.
