To let CS:GO run smoothly with Avast, you gotta add it to your 'exceptions' list. Open Avast, head to 'Menu', then 'Settings'. Navigate to 'General', find 'Exceptions', and add the CS:GO folder from your program files. This tells Avast to chill out and trust CS:GO, letting you game without interruptions.

Just turn off Avast while you're playing. Quick and dirty fix!

Had the same issue, added CS:GO to exceptions and it worked like a charm. Never had Avast block it again!
