To alt-tab out of CS:GO quicker, try playing in windowed or borderless window mode instead of full screen. This cuts down on the time it takes for your computer to switch between CS:GO and your desktop. Just head to the video settings in-game and make the switch!

Honestly, just use two monitors if you can. Keep CS:GO on one screen, and whatever else you need on the other. Zero alt-tabbing time!

Enable 'Disable fullscreen optimizations' on the CS:GO exe file properties. Right-click on CS:GO in your Steam library, go to properties, browse local files, find the CS:GO .exe, right-click, go to properties, then compatibility, and check 'Disable fullscreen optimizations'. This could make alt-tabbing faster.
