Actually, just disconnect your Steam from the internet, start CS:GO, and then reconnect. Steam doesn't update your status right away, so it'll look like you're offline. Sneaky, right?

Easiest trick in the book: set your Steam profile to 'Offline' in the Friends list before launching CS:GO. This way, you'll look offline to your friends but can still jump into the game and play. Just click on your name in the Steam friends list, and you'll see the option to go offline. EZ game!
