Just download it from Steam, no application needed. It's a game, not college!

Had to chuckle at 'apply' but seriously, hop onto Steam, search for CS2, and click download. That's pretty much it. Been playing since launch day, and the transition from CS:GO was seamless. Get ready for some intense matches!
