Iron Treads is a tough Steel/Ground type, so you're gonna want to exploit its weaknesses like Fighting, Ground, and Water type moves. High-level Water types especially can make short work of it. Also, don't forget to stock up on healing items and revives, cause this battle can drag on. Keep your team's level up and maybe throw in some status effects if you can to gain the upper hand!

Honestly, just catch a Vaporeon or something. Iron Treads? More like Iron Dead, am I right? Water types all the way.

Electric moves won't do a thing against Iron Treads cuz of its Ground typing, so don't even bother. Stick to Water types – they're your best bet. A good Hydro Pump can do wonders.

Iron Treads wrecked my team the first time. Second round, I spammed it with Mud Shot from my highest-level Ground type and backed that up with a couple of Super Potions. Worked like a charm!
