Honestly, just catch a strong Dark-type and level it up. Mewtwo's psychic moves are weak against dark types. Easiest strategy ever.

I managed to beat Mewtwo with a well-coordinated team of Dark and Ghost types. Loaded up on Max Revives and used a combo of Dark Pulse and Shadow Claw. It's tough, but patience and the right moves make all the difference. Definitely not impossible!
