Rock types for the win! Bug types can't handle Rock-type moves well, so bring a sturdy Rock-type Pokémon into the fray and watch those bugs crumble!

Honestly, just use a Fire-type Pokémon. Bug types are weak against Fire, so it's pretty much an easy win. My Charcadet demolished that gym without breaking a sweat.
