Best answer

Binding keys in CS:GO is a great way to quicken your gameplay. Open the console by pressing the tilde (~) key. Then, to bind a key, simply type 'bind "key" "command"'. For example, if you want to bind the 'F' key to say 'hello' in chat, you'd type 'bind "f" "say hello"'. Remember, you can bind almost any command to any key, so experiment to see what works best for you!

Honestly, just use the in-game settings. It's way easier and you won't mess anything up by typing the wrong command.

Pro tip: Use binds to level up your CS:GO game. I bind 'n' for 'noclip' to quickly move around maps in private lobbies. Saves so much time. Just open console, type 'bind n noclip', and you’re set. Don’t use it in competitive play though, or you’ll get banned faster than you can say 'cheat'.

Just type 'bind' followed by the key and the action you want it to do. Easy peasy. So, like, 'bind z "buy ak47"' will get you an AK-47 with the press of 'z'.
