Super easy fix here! Just open your console in CS:GO (enable it in game settings if you haven't), and type in 'cl_righthand 0' without the quotes. Bam! Your gun should now be in your left hand. If you ever want to switch back, just type 'cl_righthand 1'. You can also bind this command to a key, so you can switch hands on the fly! Like, bind 'L' 'cl_righthand 0' for left hand, and bind 'R' 'cl_righthand 1' for right hand.

Honestly, just play with whichever hand you're comfortable with. I tried switching to left hand thinking it would improve my game, but it didn't really make a difference. It's all about what feels right for you!
