How to bind your primary weapons in CS:GO

Nah, keep it simple. Just use the default keys. Learning the default settings instead of creating a bunch of custom binds keeps things straightforward and lets you focus more on the gameplay. Plus, if you ever play on a different setup, you won't be totally lost.

Honestly, custom binds are a game changer. I set mine up so I can switch weapons super fast and it seriously upped my gameplay. Open the console with ~ and type something like 'bind q "slot1"' to make 'q' your go-to primary weapon key. Makes you wonder why you didn't do it sooner.

Easy peasy lemon squeezy! To bind your primary weapon in CS:GO, just open the console (~ key) and type 'bind <key> "slot1"', replacing <key> with whatever key you want to use for easy access to your primary gun. So, if you wanna pull out your rifle with the press of 'r', you'd type 'bind r "slot1"'. This way, you're always ready to switch back to your main firepower in the heat of the battle.
