Breeding in Pokemon Violet works similar to previous games! You wanna drop two compatible Pokémon off at a Pokémon Nursery. You can find one in the town of Los Platos and another near Medali. Make sure the Pokémon are compatible (usually the same species or at least the same Egg Group and opposite genders) and leave them together. After a bit of exploring, check back, and you might have an egg ready for pickup! Walking around with the egg in your party will eventually hatch it into a new Pokémon.

No such thing as breeding in Pokemon Violet or Scarlet, folks. They switched things up this gen. So if you're looking to breed, you're out of the old school loop.
