How to Build a Portal in Minecraft: The Fun Way!
Last updated
Ever been wandering around in Minecraft and thought, ‘How do I jump into another world here?’ You’re in luck because that’s exactly what we’re diving into today. We’re exploring how to build a portal in Minecraft to take your adventures to the next level!
Building a portal in Minecraft isn’t just cool, it’s your ticket to exploring new realms. Let’s get into how you can create one.
The Quick Guide to Crafting Your Minecraft Portal
To kick things off, you’ll need some Obsidian blocks – that super tough, purple block that looks like the night sky. You’ll get these by mixing water and lava, which turns into Obsidian when they meet. Remember, you’ll need a Diamond Pickaxe to collect these blocks.
Once you’ve got at least 10 Obsidian blocks, it’s time to build. Make a standing rectangle: four blocks high and five blocks wide. The corners can be any block; they don’t have to be Obsidian. Next, grab a Flint and Steel and light the inside of your rectangle on fire. Step back and watch as a shimmering portal appears. Voila, you’ve done it!
