Wondering how you can create a guardian to protect your Minecraft village? You’re probably thinking about building an Iron Golem in Minecraft, aren’t you?

Let’s dive into exactly what it takes to summon one of these mighty protectors in your Minecraft world.

Quick Guide: Building an Iron Golem

To build an Iron Golem, you need 4 Iron Blocks and 1 Pumpkin. First, place the Iron Blocks in a T shape on the ground. Then, top it off with a Pumpkin on the center top block. Voilà, you’ve got yourself an Iron Golem!

This process may seem simple, but it requires a bit of preparation. You’ll need to mine a substantial amount of Iron Ore (at least 36 pieces since one Iron Block is made from 9 Iron Ingots) and find a Pumpkin which can be a bit of an adventure on its own.
