Capping CS:GO at 30FPS is pretty straightforward. If you want a smooth, cinematic gameplay experience or your rig is on the older side, here’s how you do it. Totally capped mine at 30FPS cuz my laptop is kinda ancient. It really helps with the overheating issue and makes the game playable. Just type `fps_max 30` in console and you're good to go. Don't let anyone tell you it's not worth it - if it makes the game more enjoyable for you, it's definitely worth trying!
